In true Henderson style, our community wants to look after our young people. There are a variety of things on offer for youth in our district:

Zeal West

Zeal West is a dedicated youth centre in the heart of Henderson, located near West Wave on Alderman Drive. They have a dedicated dance/rehearsal space, recording studios, a digital design lab and more. Zeal West offers free youth work as well as free afternoon hangs for young people. There is something on offer every weekday. You can find Zeal West on 20 Alderman Drive (next to WestWave).

The Youth Health Hub

The Youth Health Club is a FREE health service for young people (aged 12-24 years) living in West Auckland. Here you can make appointments for a health check by a health professional, or talk to someone who understands young people. They also offer access to one-on-one counselling and family support, access to Youth Workers, or Group Programmes for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. They offer free general Youth Health Clinics by appointment throughout the week. The Youth Health Hub is located at 49 Lincoln Road, to make an appointment call 09 836 2329 or 0800 562 023.

WAYIN™

This initiative was developed by our team here at the Central Park Henderson Business (CPHB) association. The aim of this initiative is to support our young people (16-24yrs) into employment opportunities and support businesses to engage and employ young people.
