  • Events: Through our events subsidiary; the West Auckland Business Club (WABC)
    • We organise breakfast forums, i.e. the Tony Alexander Business Breakfast.
    • Business development workshops, and training, to further relationship building for our members and their teams.
  • Networking: Also through the ‘WABC’ we run the Business After Five (BA5) networking events
    • These are supported by a wonderful group of sponsors and are well attended.
  • Advocacy: A mechanism to enable local boards to engage with the business sector in local town centres and business areas in a coordinated way.
    • We engage with the Henderson-Massey Local Board, Auckland Council and their CCO’s to represent businesses with one voice. Concerns such as security, rates, neighbourhood enhancements (placemaking), and traffic improvements on your behalf. Essentially, to take a view of economic opportunities within the area.
    • Also important links within Local, Regional and National Government.
  • Contacts: With professionals; Law, Accounting, Banking, HR etc. these contacts play an important role for assisting with advocacy matters and B2B support.
  • Security: CPHBA has strong links with NZ Police, a project for security cameras, together with a voice on the Henderson Town Centre planning forum.
  • Marketing: We publish the WEst Magazine which regularly features businesses in the West.
  • Directory: The Association works to ensure that our members are listed on the website’s online business directory to help customers find your business. Also to advance a collective ‘SEO’ for local companies.
