The West Auckland Business Club Business Forums include a key note speaker addressing topical business and economic issues.
Normally these are either breakfast or lunch events.
The forums are held four or five times per year – generally, guests arrive for registration with a 30 minute meet and greet, a meal is served, before a 30-40 minute presentation by the guest speaker.
Speakers are encouraged to take questions from the floor.
Morning events conclude by 9am so that you can get on with your day. Luncheon events run no longer than two hours.
‘To date the Club has had a knack of attracting speakers with key announcements to make’.
Past speakers have included current and former Prime Ministers and Cabinet Ministers, Mayor Len Brown, Sir Graham Henry, Patrick Wilson (Managing Director of McDonald’s NZ), Trent Harnett (Head of Marketing & Communications for 2degrees), Nigel Morrison (CE & Managing Director of the SkyCity Entertainment Group), Mike Bennetts (CE of Z Energy), Sir Ray Avery and Norm Thompson (Deputy CE of Air New Zealand).
